LOVING GOD FIRST CAN RESOLVE EVERY PROBLEM

 

There is no inherited merit with God. Each of us has as much of God as they are willing to pay for. Most every material thing we have in our lives & hold dear we paid for it with TIME or someone somewhere did. We all know money doesn’t grow on trees it has to be earned and that usually takes time. 

 

Our love for God, our desire to be like Christ, can easily be measured by the amount of time we choose to spend with Him.

 

Equally rejection can be measured by the amount of time we choose NOT to spend with a person ... or God.

 

Remember, LOVE IS OFTEN SPELT ... T.I.M.E, ask your children, your spouse, they will readily confirm that for you 

 

So, Salvation is by free grace through faith, we know that, thank the Lord for that.

 

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: 

it is the gift of God: -Ephesians 2:8

 

NOTICE NEXT VERSE

 

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:10

 

Did you notice that key to the success of this verse? WE HAVE TO WALK OUT WHAT GOD HAS SOWN IN. And what He has sown within us is IMMENSE…

 

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, -Ephesians 3:20

 

There is a Holy Seed, of the word of God implanted in us at new birth, it has its own Kingdom DNA & and by default it wants to WORK GROW & GROW FROM THE INSIDE TO THE OUTSIDE. 

 

We don’t have to tell an apple tree or an orange tree how to grow fruit. In time we can prune away useless foliage & help it become more fruitful. But it is what Father already determined it to be is why it will reproduce after its own kind.

 

If we are abiding in Christ then so will we also reproduce after our own kind, fruit is a divine default, an expectation, it’s the outworking of Gods imputing. HOWEVER, … Relationship with God is worked out & walked out. God does His bit, we have to do ours, to release all of His? Can Gods work be hindered by humans?

 

UNFORTUNATELY, … YES! 

Psalms 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

 

Mark 6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that 

he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

 

YES AGAIN! 1 Thess 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

 

We can resist the DNA of God within us, we can refuse to comply with His will & commands and in doing so WE ARE NOT WALKING IN HIS LIGHT OR FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM?!!?

 

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 

-Philippians 2:12

 

But you know another amazing thing about being adopted into Fathers family? When we are born from above?  it’s not us that does all the hard work in pursuit of holiness. No, Hallelujah, we only have to surrender our will & comply with His. Christ already knows the predetermined direction that He is walking in, and all He asks is that in love & faith & sacrifice that we walk it with Him!

 

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. -1 John 1:7

 

But how do I know where to walk I hear you ask? Hallelujah Father has that covered also

 

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. -Psalms 119:105

 

And there’s even more encouragement with this verse

 

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. -Romans 8:14

 

We are being led; we don’t have to stress over a lack of direction we only have to wait till we hear & go when & where we are told. And you know what else? It’s an easy yoke & a light burden...

 

But know this, the evidence of the life of a Christ within in us is only ever equal to our love for Him … demonstrated by the time we chose to spend with Him over social media, over Netflix, over earthly relationships & eternally worthless projects.

 

Oh, to love Jesus first. Does He notice? Does He even care? Oh yes indeed He cares ... Here’s what He said to the church at Ephesus when they inadvertently chose Christian service over love for Christ.

 

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.  

Rev 2:4-6

 

Wow! Did you see that? Can you even imagine Christ having something against you!!! So much so that if not repented of & fixed quickly He said He will come and put your lights out?

What lights is that? Oh, my friend it’s the light of His sweet countenance, it’s the revelation of His Word, it’s the light to our path & our fellowship with Him.

 

I have been there, sadly more than once, business, relationships, ministry even, all grow disproportionately and begin to dominate areas of our hearts that they should not. And oh, so sadly, without even noticing it, the light of His face grows dim...

 

How good is Father to allow an attention-grabbing crisis that cause us to run to Him for repentance & a much needed reset!

 

Know & take hope in this, that God loves you, He is for you not against you.

He has no delusions about you because He had no illusions about you when He bought you back from Satan. Christ carries the receipt of your purchase in His hands & in His feet.

Father asks us, commands us even, to love Him, it’s all He wanted from Adam in the garden and it’s all He wants from you & me now. Prove your love for Him today by taking time to be set apart with Him. Ask Him to teach you how to love Him, I can testify He will surely show you.
