Labourers

WE NEED HELP

That is for sure. We have laboured relentlessly and had the privilege to lead untold thousands to Christ over the last 18 months. We know already that multitudes more would come to Him also if we could only reach them. We are stunned at the hundreds and hundreds of healing miracles we see almost daily. We are driven by the knowledge that “the night comes when no man can work”. Time is indeed limited.

We surely welcome help, if you are born again, filled with the Spirit of God or want to know how to be, your life and agenda is pure, have spiritual maturity and references that will confirm that, you are physically fit, no medical conditions, can walk mountains, stand heat, sleep on floors are not too fussy about diet or freezing mountain water baths, can financially support yourself then let’s begin dialogue.

We have no risk, low risk, medium risk, high risk and some missions where you better be ready to meet God just in case. We do not take anyone beyond what both they and we know they can handle. Teams are revolved weekly to make room for the new ones who want to learn missions; it’s true to say that every one so far is experiencing Christ healing the sick through their prayers within days. Get ready for miracles.

Sorry, but anyone big on attitude, low on humility, thrill seeking would not fit. Consider the military. But if you truly walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, we care little about past failures and more about current commitment. “Do you know Him who my soul loveth” is the question.

Perhaps you are not the one to go? Perhaps your gifting is as a recruiter, mobiliser, fund raiser, but above all intercessor – Will you please, please pray for us. If we have prayers – We already have everything. We could have workers and the funds to send them but not prayer breakthrough then demons will win and we will lose the opportunity. Fellow labourer, we bless you.

IS LABOURING FOR THE LORD AN OPTION?
It’s not so much we need a word to go – It’s we need a word to stay
Preaching the gospel begins in our own home, our own community & city
When we are faithful in the small the Holy Spirit may lead you further afield. But first receive power from the Holy Spirit and be a witness where you are.

After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.  Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.   Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Luke 10 vs 1-3

A couple of interesting things to note regarding the call of God:

a) Jesus began His ministry with "follow me I'll make you fishers of men" Mt 4v19
 b) Ended His earthly ministry with "Go into all the world and preach the gospel" Mark 16v15
c) In the middle of His ministry He sent out the seventy also to "Go Preach"
d) Christ on numerous occasions made perfectly clear that our purpose was to produce fruit.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15v16

WARNINGS

In this current spiritual climate of over emphasis on "Grace" which seems to be confused that its an end in itself and not the means to the end. The actual end is being "To be conformed to the image of Gods dear son".

We should remember that Christ gave fearful and ongoing reminders that preaching the gospel was not an option to choose but a command to obey and that are some quite scary verses regarding this that will not disappear however loud I preach the "Grace" message. See below.

For years I half preached as and when it was convenient for me. Only after a series of awful failures, rebuke and deep chastisement from the Lord did I enter a full and deep surrender and then, and only then I received revelation that my life was not my own at all and grace was not a free pass to swan about my days as I pleased. Quite the contrary, In fact I was led to understand that every cell in my body, every heart beat, every breathing moment came from Him and was destined before my conception to be for Him alone, therefore we will all give an account not only of every idle word Matt 12v36, but equally every idle moment.

There is Grace to serve and avoid the consequences of these warnings for Christ

If anyone is ashamed of me I’ll be ashamed of him Luke 9v26
If anyone denies me – I’ll deny himLuke 12v9
He told the story of uprooting the vine that did not produce Luke 13v7
Of cursing the fig tree that had no fruit Mark 11v14+
Of the 5 foolish virgins that had no oil Matt 25v1+
Of the servant that buried his talent and did not use it to produce more Matt 25v26+
Of the seed that fell by the wayside, rocky ground or among thorns Luke 8
Paul said "Woe be unto me if I preach not the gospel" 1 Cor 9v16
Paul said again "Knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men 2 Cor 5v11
Christ warned the branch that produced no fruit would be cast into the fire John 15v6

We cannot plead ignorance regarding the lost

If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? Prov 24v11,12

There is much more that could be said about this but lets close with Gods words to Ezekiel regarding his obligation to preach to the good, the bad and the backslidden.
Ezk 3v17  Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 18  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19  Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 20  Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 21  Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
