CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD

Most religions doubt that Christ was much more that a good man. Muslims outright deny that Christ is Gods son. Openly and wrongly stating that Christ never said He was the Son of God! This is blasphemy and sadly I have seen believers when confronted by the ignorance and satanic lie fold up and not be able to answer from scripture. Even begin doubting themselves if in fact Christ ever clearly stated that He was in fact Gods son! What follows are numerous verses from Gods word to dispel that doubt and provide both armour and ammunition to handle and prevail in any such future engagements with those that do not yet enjoy the assurance that our Christ is who He said He is - the Son of the Living God

CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD
By confession, acknowledging & not denying Yeshua confirmed numerous times that He was in fact The Son of God

THE WOMAN AT THE WELL
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
John 4:25,26

TO THE BLIND MAN
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. John chp 9

HE TOLD THE PHARISEES
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? -John 10:36

HE TOLD HIS DISCIPLES
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. -John 11:4

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. -John 5:25

HE TOLD THE JEWS
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. -John 5:18

IN ADDITION - GOD HIMSELF CONFIRMED YESHUA AS HIS SON

THROUGH HIS ANGEL GABRIEL
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. -Luke 1:35

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: -Luke 1:32

DIRECTLY AT BAPTISM
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. -Matthew 3:17

ON MT OF TRANSFIGURATION
And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. -Mark 9:7

JOHN THE BAPTIST CONFIRMED HIM & Christ did not deny his proclamation.
And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. -John 1:34

THE DISCIPLES CONFIRMED HIM NUMEROUS TIMES
And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. -John 6:69

Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God. -Matthew 14:33

CHRIST RESPONDED
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. -Matthew 16:17

NATHANAEL CONFESSED HIM AND CHRIST DID NOT DENY
48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. John 1:48-50

THE DEMON LEGION KNEW HIM
When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. -Luke 8:28

CHRIST ACKNOWLEDGED HIS SONSHIP BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT HALL
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.  -Mark 14:61-62

GODS CALL

Is for what He can do through us

Not what we can do for Him

God sees the outcome of our surrender. Its Himself
Not a more polished us. Not the potential of our personality. That’s our self.
It’s what He can do through us not what we can do for Him.

That which is born of flesh is flesh, The flesh profiteth nothing at all

That's why calling a 16 yr old uneducated fisherman off the beach to be an apostle and foundation in His church is no big deal to God since He doesn't see things they way we see them. His thinking is not limited by our ability only our availability and His immutability.

God sees what He can and will do through us if we will surrender, if we will wait for Him.
We are limited to our resources, our education, our breaks and self promotion. We hope from these basic and carnal aids we can be something great for God never realising the abomination of such carnal ambition.

In love and grace He will resist and break again and again bringing about the death of the old man, If we will allow it. In the possibility we will eventually absolutely surrender to His will. Just as Christ did in the garden so that He may work unhindered through our lives without the obstacle of self will, self seeking, self promotion & preservation.

We know the blood, the pain, the anguish of soul and separation from God that Christ's surrender brought. Are we ready for the personal potential of that. Or is our surrender loosely based on the notion of Mega church fame, fortune, book titles but martyrdom not even a remote consideration.

Paul's calling began with the understanding of what "Great things" he would suffer in order
for the gospel to be preached where strong demons currently held the ground.
His success was not without personal cost but was marked by suffering & prison.

The fame we should seek is that of Christ in us the hope of glory.
The reward we should be content with is anything the Father wishes to give for our absolute obedience even to death - Though, frankly, Christ Himself is reward enough.
Our life should be Christ and death is our gain.
If we continue to be drawn to all that glitters here it's because we have never glimpsed His glory there. Which glory the Comforter longs to reveal to those who will seek Christ as their reward.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.  But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Cor 2vs 9,10

                                            A Crossless Christianity

                                                  30 Aug 2012

Much of the kingdom has invariably developed into the very thing Christ strongly cautioned against "a belief system loosely styled on our founders directives but without our founders cross or resurrection power".

We have cleverly devised a philosophy that's holds to the basic tenants but does not pay the basic price and therefore does not demonstrate the basic power necessary to live out this Christ like life.

For the most part we have followed the path of our leaders but without doubt we also, with all the
personal accountability that attracts, have devised a strategy of cross avoidance rather than cross carrying.

Our lives are for the best part cross free, therefore fruitless, powerless, mostly useless and a mockery to the world. But at least have successfully avoided the persecution and the poverty that often accompanies a truly new testament lifestyle.

In that we can commend ourselves, yet I fear God and His Christ that He  himself does not share our relief at having diminished our clear calling to merely “just another religious status”. “A form of godliness but deny the power thereof”

We are denying paying the price thereof, We are foolish virgins without oil, vines without fruit, fig trees that will not yield, seed sown on stony ground. Again and again the Lord cautioned of the consequences of salt that lost its savour. Paul cautioned "of such have nothing to do".

Our lives, our education, our occupation, our property and usually our public profile all remain intact, un-crucified. Yet He was despised and rejected, forsaken of all, as was Paul - Why?

Because He obeyed the will of the father - even to the death.

Of course this genders the question and furnishes the evidence of the actual answer as to why, having been clearly informed that to follow Christ we must needs enter the glory through much persecution outwardly we have a form of peace but obviously we have no power. And also a groom with whom we have little to no light to greet.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.  -Luke 14:27

Are you ready to die for the Lord Jesus

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. -Revelation 12:11

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  -Luke 12:4

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. -Acts 20:24

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. -Acts 21:13

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.  -Revelation 2:10

The Lord sees death as something different to us - We see the pain of parting whilst He sees the joy
of uniting.

Martyrdom Is by Election

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: -Revelation 6:9
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? -Revelation 6:10
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. -Revelation 6:11

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. -Ephesians 2:10

For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. -Hebrews 9:26
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: -Hebrews 9:27
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. -Hebrews 9:28

How to Know God's will Vs Flesh

a) it is one thing to have a witness/leading to do a thing
Do it without delay and with avoid spirit. Remember King Saul
half obeyed but totally lost the kingdom - God sent him demons

b) Or to have no witnesss or leading either way.
Do nothing until you hear from the Lord. Do not go beyond
the boundary of permission that you Father has given you in your soul.

c) Or to really want to do a thing but have no permission.
This is flesh and it must be crucified and re-crucified.

d) To not want to do it but feel we must.
"Nevertheless Not MY WILL but thy will be done".
this one can be the hardest on our flesh.

e) To feel obligation or pressure to men to do a thing.
This is satans weapon of choice for the young soul that wants
to serve God but hasn't yet learned to rightly discern
soul from spirit

e) Will really test relationships and your own ability
to hear from God. This should not be confused with doing a thing because we fear man or feel we should be pleasing man.

We are surely prayer for you precious daughter. If its the
Lord that you dont go then there is a peace t saying no.

Kindest Regards
