I just emailed this to a friend, I think the content may encourage you.
Great David
Thanks for the heads up,
You know I thank God its friday D, as we actually get
some rest tomorrow. Since being back working on the recovery of our
business which of course supports what we do here, our day
usually ends at 3-4am and we are up again at 8
am.
So unfortunately, our own outreach opportunities are limited at present. However, thank God, in the mornings we teach our mountain and forest students. These young kingdom gladiators are the ones who now go in to the highways & byways and take down giants, reaching the lost, casting out demons and healing the sick. The reports surely glorify God.
We are humbled and astonished as they share testimony
after testimony of battle fought & victory won. These young coconut tree climbers, rice field planters
& harvesters are also astounding us with the dreams, visions and revelations that the Holy Spirit shares with
them whilst they reside in our outreach training centre here in General Santos.
Last week, Jo & I listened to the testimony of an
African pastor who died and angels took him to heaven. He described how the
flowers waved and sang - An experience I have personally had.
We had not told this testimony to the young evangelists as they were not
in the centre at the time. But yesterday, during the worship time,
which sounds like heavenly thunder by the way, several of them experienced
heaven. All excitedly testified to seeing the exact same things as the others saw.
Imagine how amazed we were to learn that one of the girls clearly described
seeing the flowers waving and singing praises to
God.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear
heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath
prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 2Cor
2v9,10
Hallelujah! When heaven comes down, when the Holy
Spirit is allowed to reign as Lord indeed in the hearts of His children
He readily reveals Christ and His glory to
us.
Kindest regards
Have a great weekend
George
