AMAZING TEAM

All the teams we work with here stagger us with their devotion and dedication to the Lord. I don’t get time to post but I want to encourage the interested with updates. Our Tacurong team are amazing. Not without challenge but not without great grace, great courage and favour either. They are bold, willing, teachable and fearless.

We met with their mayor this week at her invitation, was treated as VIPs at their annual cultural exhibition performance, had our Fri bible study in the city auditor’s office again yesterday. A Baptist worship leader was filled with the Holy Ghost. We accepted an invitation to visit the most serene bird sanctuary ever and shared Jesus with our new friends, who were the heavily armed security detail that accompanied us, arranging to meet at a bible study at their police station in 2 weeks time.
Last night after another bible study with Catholics, Muslims & believers present, some of the team stayed over with the host as it was too late for us to drive back on what could be hostage territory. But, they didn't waste the evening; instead they led the hosts, Two precious & prominent Marbel Catholics to Jesus, encouraging them to destroy their idols.
Today we will revisit a Barangay outreach were we saw many salvations and healings. And Monday of that team will join is for a week’s outreach in another war zone.. Just two weeks ago in that place there was a massacre of three beheadings, usual Press black out applies. The military responded killing ten of the alleged perpetrators. Thankfully calm now restored but the people are traumatized and need the gospel. Your prayers appreciated it’s going to be a great week for Gods glory.
