1000's Gathering for Prayer Every Morning Jan 2012

The developing Revival in Blood Strewn Mindanao continues to spread, such a privilege to be a part of it. Despite numerous western Government Advisories warning Tourists “Do not to go to Mindanao as they will not enter negotiations or attempt rescues with anyone who gets kidnapped, God continues to save the lost, heal the sick and turn the hearts of the rebels – The following is a brief snap shot of what we are witnesses of:

1st Week Jan - Mlang Mass Gathering for Peace
Saturday 7th we were invited by the core leaders back to Mlang to attend the Prayer Celebration. This is a town in central Cotobato, Mindanao, Philippines southernmost island. This is a place with a long history of bloodshed and running battles. Muslim, tribal and town folk fight among themselves and sometimes with themselves. Wars have occurred here, many have died whilst still, heavily armed “No Go” communities live just on the outskirts of the town.

3,000+ gathered to praise and worship King Jesus for the difference He has and is making in this place in only 3 months. Jo & I were asked to add our names as witnesses while over 70 mixed denominational leaders and the town mayor signed a covenant plaque of peace and restoration of Holiness in the name of Jesus Christ.  This was such a great and rousing event since recently Mlang was rated the worst place in the Philippines for armed carjacking. It has been crime free since the daily 4am – 6am prayer gatherings began only 90 days ago in October 2011. Daily, between  350 - 520+ saints gather for prayer and worship between 4am – 6am

“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, seek my face and turn from their wicked ways – I WILL hear from heaven, forgive their sins AND HEAL THEIR LAND.  2 Chron 7v14 is a reality here. God is really healing the land and we are witnesses. This can happen anywhere.
