Further, China doesn’t seem pursue world domination so much as it doesn’t want to be under US domination! Either you are in control or you are being controlled - China like every other breathing entity on earth doesn't favour the latter.
Having many extended visits there and then lived there for almost a year, I was daily amazed how different it was to western media reports and opinion. Its very Clean, respectful, orderly, almost crime free as far as we saw, innovative in the extreme!
Gods’ blessings are very evident. Almost anyone there will tell you that they do not want western immoral influences hence they ban Hollywood & social media platforms. We could preach anywhere anytime.

The question must be … Why are the kings of the East coming? Notice its “KINGS" - plural? Remember that 3x kings came for Christs first appearing.
Seems that Kings from the east will show up at Christs second appearing also.
Prosperity seems to be shifting from the East to the West maybe divine payback for the opium wars? Or for all their gold & silver that they were “encouraged” to safely deposit in Fort Knox until the revolution was established?
So far, other than myself I haven’t met anyone that had attended both the Western Innovation & Invention conference in New York and the twice yearly Canton fair. The former is a weekend event held in a medium sized ballroom in a Holiday Inn. The latter is held in an enormous custom built centre showcasing 60,000 suppliers over 2x 3 week sessions per annum.
Its true that plagiarism is rampant in China, quite hilarious in a ay as a patent means little to nothing there. Copying is a huge industry. Though it is mostly themselves that they copy.
The “International Hall" at the Canton Fair is only half a hall among the 60 or so halls dedicated to Chinese suppliers. Even then the International hall is almost zero western
and mostly other Asian suppliers. But the Chinese innovation is off the charts inspiration. Obviously, the west fears this transition & displacement.
I pray that they do nothing foolish because if sustained economic growth is an indicator of divine approval and economic decline an indicator of disapproval
it is not to difficult to discern which empire Father seems to favour.
There was little to invest in in the western exhibs but overwhelming opportunity in the east. Clearly God seems to have shifted the balance of economic power.
Remember when Gods grace shifted from Israel to Babylon? Then the Angel told Daniel that Greecia was coming? 150 yrs later a young man called Alexander the Great appeared? Power shifts when Father determines it too..
Sadly, we hardly see such innovation in the west these days? I think Americas fastest train is 70mph? Yet in China we frequently travelled far inland on bullet trains at over 300kph
It is a tough regime there, though in my observation way more lenient that the God appointed Romans were over Jerusalem in the time of Christ. Bearing in mind many of these beautiful, simple, God ordained & God created people remain still in such spiritual darkness.
In Fathers kindness to me, I have been there many times when a Chinese comes to the realisation that the forced communism of their parents generation is a false and shallow ideal compared o the Promise & claims of Christ.
When the bamboo curtain went up there were an estimated 2.5 million believers in China - When missionaries were able to enter years later, they found that, regardless of the harshness of their regime, no churches, no pastors, no bible schools, no worship bands, NO BIBLE, the ranks of believers had not diminished as thought but instead had swelled to an estimated 40 million. Oh that western hearts were not so hard as to resist His nail pierced hand here?
When we left in 2015 the latest polls estimated 200,000 believers - equal to or greater than the communist party. When a Chinese gives their life to Christ, the cost is significant, exile from family & home is almost instantaneous. That’s why many Chinese believers have such depth and sincerity because their faith in Christ cost them their all right from the get go. We had never seen such hunger for God. Our teaching days would last 12 hours every day for 2-3 days. They would of gone on long were it possible.
The last outreach we did we stayed in the home of a newly converted head of Police interrogation for his region. I asked how he became a believer, he explained that the total transformation of former criminals after becoming Christians and their refusal to crack under violent interrogation had caused him to consider that they had a resolve and hope in their soul that he did not. He began to realise that it was the Lord Jesus. On becoming a believer himself he testified to his team and told them “No more persecuting Christians”
they are the best thing that has happened to our city : ) I love these people dearly and would readily return tomorrow were it possible.
