                                                               DEAF & DUMB HEAR & SPEAK

We headed for a forest community called “Beam”. This would be our second visit. Our first was marked by many amazing miracles that Christ had performed among them

Once deep into the forest the usually dry river bed was full and fast flowing. I went out to wade and check the depth as I was convinced we should go there and this water should not stop us. Everyone in the car was saying "No, we cannot cross that". So, just as I'm about to wade in a motorbike loaded with the usual baskets drove down, right in and continued to splutter and splash right across it. We followed in good order.

Many more than before began to gather as we bumped across the mud track into their little community.  They certainly seemed pleased to see us. First person to meet was the pastor who moved there with his family several years ago to try and reach these people. He was with a young man who he introduced as his son. I said “hi” and smiled but the man just stared. I was surprised
at his lack of response as it was already discernible that this man had a beautiful spirit.  The pastor then explained to me that his son is deaf and dumb and has been since he was 10 months old. “He cannot hear you”. As we walked I heard a quiet whisper in my Spirit “I will heal him today”!

There is such confidence, faith to receiving a word like that.

                            Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Rom 10v17

We switched on the portable sound system, played three classical music tracks so that those further out into the forest would come and they surely did from every direction. Ann & Nech preached with power, Vennie gave the appeal and many responded.

Then we tell them more about the Fathers heart, how he has not planned sickness and suffering for us and that through Christ He delights to heal us and if they would like to receive a healing in the name of Jesus then form three lines. As usual, many came forward. So many that we had to begin with a mass prayer.

Paralysed arm instantly healed

After which we asked who had received a miracle from God already.  A middle aged man raised his right arm up high all were amazed as they knew he was near paralysed in that arm before; he was elated as he again and again punching the air in joy because he could work again and feed his family. The others standing by for their own miracle received a huge boost of faith. Then we began to to lay hands on and pray one after the other. Many experienced instant healings and relief from pains all by Gods grace.

The pastor’s son was the third in the first line. We laid hands on and rebuked a deaf & dumb spirit. He motioned that he could hear something. We prayed again still commanding deaf and dumb devils to leave his ears, throat and mouth “NOW”.  This time he jumped, his eyes wide, His ears had popped open and he could hear perfectly. Vennie tested him by speaking quietly and said "say Jesus"… He replied straightaway “Jesus”.

I tested him further, again in a low voice "say happy birthday", right back "happy birthday"!!  He was delighted and we were delighted, basking in the wonder of our God. Laughing with joy at what we are witnessing again.

 I called his father over to us and asked him to observe our "Jesus & happy birthday" test.

His son, beaming at his dad ear to ear repeated exactly and clearly. Wow! What a Youtube moment! the look of shock on the fathers face was a picture. They embraced for an age then walked away together practising new words. A while later, I looked over again to where they were, they were still close face to face smiling and talking – Jesus was truly here.

After the service I asked the mother where her son was. She explained that he was in their house jumping up and down and dancing because he could now go to school and learn. All these years he wanted to attend but they have no facility for teaching deaf pupils and they had no money to waste. Truly Jesus did as He whispered He would do “I will heal him today”. There are no words to describe the wonder of that.

                                                                         LEPROSY HEALED

Healed of Leprosy

A girl we prayed with during our first visit had many angry and growing leprosy sores and patches all across her body. Jesus has healed her. Her sores & patches are now white like a babies, except the angry welt on the face is gone, only slightly shaded compared to the rest of her completion. It looks ok. I guess the mirror will remind her everyday of her life of Gods goodness to her.

                                                    BORN LAME NOW WALKING & RUNNING

The mother of a child lame from birth till three years old gave a clear testimony that the crowd joyfully acknowledged that immediately after we had prayed last visit, not next day as we had been told, the child got up walked then ran. How good is our God!

Another with cataracts testified to fully seeing, injured backs, fevers, headaches, asthma and more - We really give humble thanks. By Gods grace we will visit monthly to help that pastor establish a strong outreaching work there. Many from that village want to join in going from village to village already.
