Two deaf men – One healed one not?

Ac 14:9  The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him,

 and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

Mt 13:58  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

We prayed for two deaf men at this location one was instantly healed, the other not? Why is that? We cannot always tell. But on this occasion I discerned that the first one we prayed with who was not healed had a far higher degree of darkness over his soul than the second older gentleman that was healed. The older man's spirit was lighter, his eyes brighter and more engaging.

Often you can tell even before praying for someone for healing who will be healed and who wont and its according to the level of faith they exhibit at point of prayer. If they appear wide eyed and hopeful, usually they will receive an instant miracle. Compare that to perhaps one in ten of the people who request prayer who come oppressed, downcast, doesnt really appear that hopeful, typically, that person will not be healed.

TB Healing Confirmed at Clinic the Next Day

Another case of partial unbelief. We are informed of one man with chronic TB that we prayed with when we were here over a week ago, after prayer he was still coughing blood, but next morning he and his wife descended the mountain for clinical tests, just to be sure. On arrival he was asked to produce phlegm, but as he could no longer cough he could not produce it for testing. So some blood tests followed  and he was declared completely free from TB.
