Fiery Pastor Addresses Gay Marriage

‘It Was Like A Freak Scene!': Watch Pastor’s Fiery Speech Against Gay Marriage

Alabama preacher is fired up.

After Alabama’s ban against same-sex marriage was struck down last Monday, same-sex couples have received marriage licenses–and one outspoken pastor has had enough of it.

Cedric Hatcher, a Birmingham, Alabama, street preacher, took to the city council and delivered a fiery speech calling on fellow Christians to disapprove of gay marriage.
“It was one of the most comedic scenes I’ve ever see in public, when I witnessed men with size 13, 14 shoes out there kissing each other in the mouth in front of little kids,” he said. “It was like a freak scene going on, that’s what I call it.”
His comments are sure to rile people up on both sides of the fence as the issue of gay marriage is still highly controversial.
Matt Chandler, lead pastor of the Village Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, says the Church has to be a “safe place” for the broken, the confused, and all sinners – this includes homosexuals. If Christians condemn homosexuals and not their homosexual sin, Christians potentially slam the door on homosexuals’ salvation.
In the book of Mark, Jesus confronts the issue of sinners:
Those who are well have no need for a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. – Mark 2:17
