They tell us no one has preached for 30 years

On our way to the mountain we received a text from a friend asking if we would meet with three local intercessors at the town at the foot of the mountain. We were delighted too as the more prayer we can muster the better. Our results are never greater than our prayers and our successes are always equal to our prayers. Forgive the little clichés but we have learnt the hard way that if we do not first travail we will not latterly prevail. We know for fact that the battle is won on our knees not on the streets. You can have all the money, but no prayer and you’ll flounder. You can have all prayer and no money AND God will make a way and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

As soon as we met our new friends I received in my spirit discernment and a prophetic word for all three. So, while we sat in a roadside shack drinking coffee and the conversation turned to eternal things I shared with each of them what I had seen about their lives and what could be in comparison to what is. Soon there were floods of tears and acknowledgement that what was spoken was true and that repentance and change was required for the Lord to have His will in and over their lives. It is clear that these three sisters were called by God; it was also evident that they were only walking in a fraction of the authority designated to them through fear of man and a lack of revelation.  This is a common demonic strategy that paralysis many believers. We spend time licking wounds as victims instead of being on the front line of prayer creating victims amongst the hordes of hell.

Whenever there is a lack of spiritual insight, revelation or direction in our lives the fault is never because the Holy Spirit didn’t give it but because we did not seek His face to receive it. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him why He is near.

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him Psalm 25v14
