1. Jehovah Witness of 30+ years healed in the name of Jesus
   
   A couple of weeks ago, our friend Vennie came to visit bringing her long term friend who happens to be an active Jehovah Witness of 30 plus years. They told us how 3 bombs had just gone off in their place killing two people and that you can have someone killed for a 25kg sack of rice. Oh! and by the way hand grenades are back on the market.
   
   That area is actually one of our regular outreach venues and usually, blood is shed there about every time we go. Quite frankly we have learnt that bombs and bullets aid the preaching of the gospel more than hinder it! Scared people seem far more susceptible to preaching about God as they may meet Him sooner than expected.
   
   The topic of sudden death and eternity launched us into discussing the fundamental difference in our beliefs. My point was that a true believer in Christ would a) know Christ personally and b) The power of God would be manifest in their life, citing many of the miracles we are blessed to see as evidence. Amazed and her faith encouraged the dear lady invited us to pray for her longstanding knee injury. After a short prayer in Jesus name, making clear that He alone is the healer, she declared “The pain is gone, The pain is gone” and demonstrated that she could sit and stand without suffering. She told her husband when she got home that Jesus had healed her leg.
   
   Later, still quite moved, she insisted that Vennie spend the night at her home repeating often her amazement that Jesus had healed her. Vennie teased her every time saying so now born again? We pray that Christ becomes a reality to this dear lady. Praise God, I encourage you, believe the Lord for miracles.
